Staten Island

The city of New York in cooperation with local activists plan to transform the suburbs of Staten Island in the commercial and business district. In the plans one of the most important steps will be the revitalization of areas that are adjacent to the pier. In order to make the commercial part of the city livelier, the authorities will give grants to artists and artisans studios for housing rental.

Italian district of New York

Little Italy, as you might guess, is the Italian district of New York. At the beginning of the last century, the district was situated along Mulberry Street to the Five Corners, but in the early sixties, Chinatown began to grow rapidly and made many Italians to move to Bay Ridge, or to new houses in Near Long Island. It is worthwhile mentioning that there are very few real Italians in the area, many of them even don’t know Italian.

1. Bannerman Castle
Bannerman Castle is located on Bannerman Island on the Hudson River, about 50 miles north of New York City. This magnificent castle was built in the early 1900s as a weapons arsenal of Francis Bannerman VI.

Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall is the famous concert hall in the center of Manhattan, which is located two blocks south of Central Park in New York. 

Concert Hall was designed by the architect William Burnet Tuthill, and was built at the expense of philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1891.
